Pre-sowing Seed Treatment with Botanicals and Organics on Plant Growth, Yield and Yield Attributing Traits of Okra (Abelmoschus esculentus L.) cv.VROH-12 Kashi Shristi

The present situation emphasizes the need to enhance eco-friendly agriculture practices for intensive farming. Chemical farming has made an unfavourable impact of health care not only soil but also favourable microbial clique and plants cultivated in these soil. This eventually led way a high demand botanical organic produce by day conscious society repeated attempts are being farmers all over world make chemical free environment. Botanical organics play vital role increasing fertility increase yield. experimental study was conducted at crop research field during Kharif 2021-2022, Department Genetics Plant Breeding, Sam Higginbottom University Agriculture Technology Sciences. To find out suitable pre-sowing seed treatment okra with different concentration, definite period treatments control (without treated) were calculated study. experiment carried Randomized Block Design 13 including used under conditions. results indicates that emergence percentage (%), plant height (30, 60 harvest ) (cm), days 50% flowering, maturity, number branches per plant, capsules seeds capsule, length capsule yield (g), plot (g),seed index biological (%) significantly recorded highest vermiwash @5% (12hours) followed (3%), beejamrutham panchagavya (3%) neem leaf extract (5%) is improving growth, attributing traits okra.
